Bernedoodles from Texas Original Doodles typically vary in size based on their specific breeding lines. On average, a standard Bernedoodle can weigh between 70 to 90 pounds and stand about 23 to 29 inches tall at the shoulder. However, there are also Mini and Medium Bernedoodles, which tend to be smaller. Mini Bernedoodles usually weigh between 25 to 49 pounds and are about 18 to 22 inches tall, whereas Medium Bernedoodles can weigh between 50 to 70 pounds and stand around 19 to 25 inches tall. Heidi, our smaller Bernese Mountain dog, for example, will be more likely to produce Medium Bernedoodle puppies. Bernie, our larger Bernese Mountain dog, will be more likely to produce standard Bernedoodles.
